Order Number 3F239 - Chawarma De Mamie I didn't receive my order in Paris yesterday even though I was at the correct address and time. I tried calling the delivery guy, but he didn't answer. He called me back 30 minutes later explaining a connection issue that prevented him from reaching the address. Due to language barriers, we couldn't find a solution to deliver the order, and he apologized for not being able to provide it. The circumstances were challenging as it was the 14th of July, with a significant ceremony taking place, which may have affected the delivery. My friends also faced similar issues. The service from Uber Eats has been disappointing lately. My last three orders have all been significantly delayed, with the most recent one even being canceled by the driver an hour after it was scheduled. This experience has been the worst so far, with previous orders also arriving late and cold. A refund doesn't seem adequate considering the poor service I've been consistently receiving. Transparency is key - if there is a driver shortage or if there are preferences for priority or tips, please communicate that clearly. I'll refrain from tipping until I receive satisfactory service.

I ordered from KFC in Randwick for delivery to the Prince of Wales Hospital Barker St entrance. I have been ordering there all week. The delivery person called me to ask where to go, and despite me instructing them to go to the hospital's main entrance, they ended up in Avoca St. They claimed it was their first day and couldn't find the main entrance. After expressing my frustration, they abruptly canceled the order citing inability to make contact. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable. I order regularly from you, and I have encountered various delivery experiences, but this was extreme. The lack of basic English and the deceit are concerning. I expect a response and accountability for this incident. I have evidence of the call and will share my experience if not addressed satisfactorily.

On 17/06/22, I placed an order with McDonald’s through UberEats. When the Uber driver arrived, I noticed it was the wrong order. He mentioned he would return it to the restaurant. Later, he called to inform me of the mix-up and promised to deliver my correct order. However, he never showed up. When I tried to report the non-delivery on the app, I was denied a refund, citing the driver had called me. He did call about the order mix-up but never mentioned the delivery. Moreover, the app claimed he waited outside my building for 30 minutes, which wasn't true as we were waiting for him. It seems he likely waited at McDonald’s instead. This lack of investigation by UberEats is disappointing. This is the second time this driver has caused an issue, as on 7/6/22, he delivered someone else's order to me. I feel let down as a loyal customer, with drivers claiming false deliveries unchecked.

Good morning, My name is JAZMIN LEIVA, and I live in Miami, FL. We have always used the UBER EATS service at home, work, and parties without any issues. On 07/09/22, I ordered food for a family member in Costa Rica as it was their birthday. Unfortunately, the driver had trouble finding the address, prompting me to contact Uber Eats customer service. The location Uber provided to the driver seemed incorrect. Despite the driver verifying the address with my family member, the food never arrived. Uber was kind enough to promptly refund me. On 07/11/22, I attempted to order the same food again, thinking the previous incident was a mistake. However, it turned into a nightmare when the driver asked my elderly family members for extra payment upon reaching the delivery location. Uber Eats customer service reached out to me to verify the delivery address. I provided the correct address, but there seemed to be a discrepancy. I am puzzled by the location system in Costa Rica as the app's address is always accurate for receiving mail and packages sent from the USA. My order initially did not process correctly due to the discount voucher not being applied. The refund for this issue was successfully processed. Subsequently, an unauthorized £9 debit was charged to my account, which they claim is due to a chargeback from my bank. This is impossible as it was a PayPal transaction, and I have no record of providing my bank details to them. Despite my evidence showing no occurrence of the £9 charge, they have failed to provide any proof for their claim. I have attached a detailed conversation via Facebook chat to document my attempts to resolve this matter. Unfortunately, I am unable to contact them by phone or mail without an active order, which I cannot place due to the unsettled £9 debit. In conclusion, they need to reimburse me the £9 to rectify their error and clear the outstanding debt on my account.

Subject: Issue with Recent Order from Marios Pizza Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address an issue I experienced with an order I placed at Marios Pizza on July 15, [redacted], totaling £42.45. I have attached the invoice receipts and email confirmation for the order. Unfortunately, while waiting for the delivery, I did not receive any updates on the status of my order. After calling the restaurant 30 minutes past the expected delivery time, I was informed that my order had been canceled without any notification. The individual I spoke with was unprofessional and abruptly ended the call. Upon further inquiry, the reasons for the cancellation were not provided, and the restaurant declined to attempt redelivery. A subsequent email explained the cancellation and assured me the payment hold on my account would be released shortly. However, it has now been 6 days, and the funds have yet to be returned. I placed an order with Deli-ish just before midnight for a delivery scheduled before 12:50 am. However, the delivery time was changed to 1:35 am, which was much later than expected. When I contacted them to express my concerns about the delay, I was informed there was only one delivery driver who was currently away in Paisley. During the call, the driver did not mention that my food was ready and I had to remind him of my order. Waiting for over 1.5 hours for delivery under these circumstances is unreasonable, especially considering the restaurant is just a 5-minute drive from my place. My order took over 2 hours to arrive, making the food cold. Both dishes had raw chicken, one was missing a garlic naan and another had a plain naan instead of garlic as ordered. I called after 1.5 hours for updates but the staff was rude and unhelpful. The delivery fee was $10, yet it arrived late. The $60 meal was scheduled for 7:45, but it was delivered at 8:35, leading to disappointment and frustration. Due to raw chicken, my family couldn’t eat the food, and my kids had to have something else. The UberEats app didn’t provide delivery updates despite three requests. We were repeatedly told 10-15 minutes, causing alarm. I couldn’t take photos as I had to console my upset children. I request a full refund, including the delivery fee, and apologies from the restaurant and driver. Although weather conditions may have caused delays, the lack of updates was unacceptable.

I placed my order when the restaurant was still open, around 9:30 pm. According to the app, the food was supposed to arrive between 10:30-10:50 pm. However, it wasn't until 11:45 pm that they finally delivered my order. Before that, I tried calling multiple times on the provided number, but no one answered, and the restaurant appeared closed online. When the delivery girl arrived with the food, I expressed my frustration with the delay, and she even suggested taking the food back if we didn't want it. Unfortunately, the food arrived cold and inedible, leaving me and my guests to go to bed hungry.

I have been attempting to resolve an issue with my background check. A report completed on July 5th allowed me to work with Uber as a delivery driver. However, on July 13th, another unauthorized report was conducted, putting my account on hold. Despite assurances that the unnecessary July 13th check would be cancelled, my account remains locked. I have contacted Uber daily for the past two weeks, with promises of escalations and callbacks within 24 hours going unfulfilled. The delay in resolving this matter and the repeated checks have prevented me from earning income. I provided evidence of the July 5th report being sufficient, to no avail. Dealing with multiple unhelpful and rude support staff has made this situation even more frustrating. I urgently need the July 13th report cancelled, the July 5th one reinstated, and my account unlocked promptly. This extended downtime could negatively impact my Uber driver rating, causing further distress.

My order arrived completely ruined: The rice was soaked, the pork spilled all over due to a torn container, and the pancakes were wet and torn. I provided a clear photo of the unusable food and requested a refund for the damaged item. However, I was denied a refund due to past issues without consideration of my current situation. I am worried about UberEats' inconsistent handling of previous problems affecting my support for this order and future ones.

Hello, I have been trying to cancel my subscription for the last few weeks as I accidentally signed up while considering an order. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to reach customer service. Cancelled the subscription through the app a week ago, but a payment was taken today. I hope that my second attempt to cancel will be successful. Can someone check and refund the fee? Dear Customer Service, I am writing this email to express my dissatisfaction. On the evening of July 3rd, I placed an order at Burger King through your platform. I was missing one item, the Chicken Louisiana. I reported this issue the next day on your site. The response I received was that I would be refunded for the sandwich, and the transfer would take 3 to 10 business days. However, as of today, July 26th, I have not received anything. Despite exchanging several emails where I was told the refund was processed, I have yet to see it. In the latest email, I was informed that I would not be refunded. According to articles L216-1 to L216-6 of the Consumer Code, an online purchase should be delivered within the agreed-upon timeframe and in a state conforming to the order. Uber Eats did not fulfill its obligation of proper delivery. Therefore, I should be refunded for the missing items. Please take the necessary steps to address this issue promptly. Sincerely, Mme V.

I had an issue with my Uber Eats delivery today from The Habit in Aliso Viejo, CA. The driver delivered my food to the wrong unit, showing a different door in the picture. I contacted Uber Eats and received a partial refund through their automated system. However, when I re-ordered, I couldn't use my $5 coupon again. I'm requesting a refund for the $5. My experience with Uber Eats has had too many errors, including orders not arriving. It's frustrating that direct customer service is not available. Thank you, gethuman.com, for being helpful. I'm not sure if this is the right place to reach out, but I have a complaint. Yesterday, on 26/07/[redacted], I ordered 5 milkshakes. When the order arrived, only 4 were included. I tried to contact the driver to no avail. I filed a complaint and received a refund, but the amount refunded was incorrect. I paid £8.50 for my order but was only refunded £1.50, which is unacceptable. I am hoping for a partial refund for the missing shake or the option to reorder what I am owed. If not, I would like to know how I can provide proof of the missing item to receive the proper refund. Furthermore, while attempting to contact support through the app, I kept receiving messages that my issue was resolved even though it wasn't. This issue needs to be resolved. Thank you.

I made a purchase at Bollywood on April 19. A significant portion of my order was missing, and even though they promised to refund me, it never happened. After reaching out to Amex, they were able to process a refund. I recently observed that the Uber app indicated I hadn't paid for the order, so I contacted customer support a few weeks back to clarify the situation. Despite assurances of a follow-up, I never received any response. Today, upon placing a new order, the system automatically included the charge for the previous Bollywood order. I am unwilling to pay the $32.79 as I did not receive all the items from my initial $70.74 order. Bollywood admitted their error and agreed to issue a refund, which never materialized. It's unfair to expect payment for items not received. Kindly process a refund for $32.79.

We placed our order at approximately 18:05. The food was marked as completed around 18:30, with an estimated arrival time of 18:45. Despite the long wait, we chose to be patient. Unfortunately, the estimated arrival time kept getting delayed: first to 18:55, then 19:10, and finally to 19:20. We had no communication from the store and no option to cancel the order. The delivery only arrived at 19:20, which was one and a half hours later. The delay also affected the quality of the drinks. We are disappointed by this experience with UberEats, as we did not anticipate such a situation. Waiting over an hour for a delivery that should have taken 20 minutes is unreasonable. We hope to receive a proper response and a refund for this inconvenience.

Hello, I wish to file a complaint regarding one of your delivery drivers. I am upset and shocked at what I witnessed recently. My neighbor ordered food from LUCKY DRAGON Chinese Takeaway in Burton On Trent, and the delivery driver urinated behind my car and spat afterwards. After contacting the Chinese restaurant, I found out they use Uber Eats drivers for deliveries. I have video evidence of this behavior. I am appalled by this and want action taken. It is disrespectful and unhygienic. I am concerned about the driver's hygiene practices while handling food deliveries. I await your response. Thank you.
