I'm having trouble setting up my Verizon FiOS extender despite following the instructions. When I disconnect the Ethernet cable, the light turns solid yellow, indicating no internet connection. It seems unable to switch from Ethernet backhaul mode to WiFi backhaul mode.

I have been inquiring about the cost of internet-only service, but each representative I've contacted through 'chat' has been pushing me towards bundled packages with TV and phone services. I have devoted a lot of time to this issue and am considering switching to Optimum instead. Despite having been a Verizon Wireless customer since [redacted], I am inclined to seek alternatives if I cannot obtain a reasonable deal for standalone home Fios internet. I kindly request information exclusively about internet service for my residence. Thank you.
