On Monday, October 25th, around 9:20 PM, I reserved a ride from New Delhi Airport, Terminal 3 to South City-1, Gurgaon, India. Even though a cab was assigned and I spoke with the driver, the ride was marked as started immediately, costing me Rs. [redacted].27 for a trip that never happened. No OTP confirmation was shared. The receipt wrongly indicates a trip to [redacted], Malkaganj, Secundrabad, Telangana, India for Rs. [redacted]. I was disappointed by this experience, as we were charged for a ride we didn't take and couldn't book another Uber. Kindly cancel the incorrect payment for the unfulfilled booking. Thank you. - D. I discovered two unauthorized charges from Uber on my checking account. One transaction for $[redacted].04 on 10/22/[redacted] and another for $17.88 on 10/23/[redacted]. I froze my bank account and contacted my bank, who advised me to reach out to Uber for resolution. These charges weren't made on my Uber account, indicating someone used my card fraudulently on another account. I urgently need assistance in getting a refund for these significant charges that are causing me distress. I also wish to know the origins of these Uber trips to understand how my card details were compromised and misused. Your help in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated. On Saturday night, I was picked up from New Street Station and taken home to Manor Road B33 8DH by a driver. Unfortunately, I had to pay £30 upfront due to feeling unwell after falling over. During the ride, I got sick, and the driver charged me an additional £60 for cleaning. When I went to get something to clean up, I accidentally left my wallet in the car, and the driver drove off. I have reported this to the police and they advised me to wait for the driver to possibly return it. They are looking into CCTV footage near where the car was parked. The police suggested I contact the service to help locate the driver using the tracker. My driver's license and cash between £[redacted] to £[redacted] were in the wallet. Regards, J. Honer

I was picked up from New Street Station on Saturday night and dropped off at **:** to Manor Road B** *DH. I had to pay the driver £** upfront. Unfortunately, I fell ill on the way home and had to make another payment of £** for valet service. When I left my wallet in the car momentarily to retrieve something from my house, the driver drove off quickly. I have reported this to the police and have a crime number. The police advised me to wait a few days for a potential return of my wallet and mentioned they are looking into CCTV footage from the area. During our NYC visit with our daughter in Brooklyn, my wife and I relied on Uber for transportation due to our unfamiliarity with the subway system. At our daughter's suggestion, an Uber was arranged to pick us up from the hotel. When notified of the driver's arrival, we promptly went to the hotel's front where we struggled to locate the vehicle described to us. After a few minutes of searching, we noticed a gentleman waiting across the street observing our confusion. It would have been helpful if the driver had signaled his presence. I also question why our daughter was charged a late fee. Are drivers deliberately imposing these fees to earn extra money?

I am seeking clarification on the recurring issue of Uber charging me more than the originally quoted fare after my rides. This has happened multiple times this week despite following the usual process of entering my destination, accepting the quoted price, and taking the trip without any additional stops or delays. The next day, I receive texts notifying me of increased fees without any apparent cause. Whether the additional charge is significant or minimal, the lack of explanation for these extra fees undermines the trust between riders and the company. As a frequent Uber user, experiencing these unexplained upcharges is frustrating and could ultimately lead me to switch to Lyft. If there is no legitimate reason for these surprise fees, I would appreciate a credit to be applied to my account to rectify the situation and prevent further occurrences. It appears that drivers are selecting trips based on profit rather than serving all available business opportunities in this wine-rich area. Despite agreeing to wait for me at Babylonstoren, an internationally renowned tourist site, a driver left without notice, leaving me stranded for 2 hours in the rain. The drivers in this region seem reluctant to complete short trips and instead prioritize targeting international customers. While I attempted all available measures to secure a ride, including rating the uncommunicative driver, the underlying issue remains unaddressed. It is crucial to address this ongoing problem in their approach. During the challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic, local residents have been loyal supporters of your service. However, the recent behavior of your drivers towards the local community is unacceptable and cannot be condoned.

Hello, my name is Prachi. On August 22, [redacted], I booked a ride from Rite Luxuria in Mulund to KEM Hospital in Parel. I paid Rs. [redacted] at 3:02 p.m. to Ersad Ahmed via Gpay, but he hasn't updated the payment on the Uber app. Now, whenever I try to book a ride on the Uber app, I receive a message stating there is an outstanding payment of Rs. Hello, Today, I ordered £18 worth of food from Uber Eats and used the discount code DEAL50OCT. However, upon applying the code, I noticed that the 50% discount did not reflect in my total during checkout. I accidentally left my phone in an Uber I took last night. I tried calling the driver but haven't received a response. I reported the lost item to Uber but haven't had any updates. I'm hoping to reach the driver to check if he found my phone or if a subsequent passenger took it. The trip was booked under Lara A.'s account, and the destination was 20 Warwick Street NE65AQ. The only detail I recall is that the driver's registration began with GD17.

Hello, Uber Eats is accusing me of fraud on my meal delivery account. However, since I started, I am the only one using my account, and I have never linked my account with another Uber account. When the car arrived, the driver remained seated without opening the window or acknowledging me, even after I tried to contact them. Despite asking if they were the driver, they refused to respond or open the window fully. Frustrated, I decided not to board the car and walked away. I was disappointed by the lack of communication and effort from the driver, especially not confirming my name. To my surprise, I have now been charged for this unpleasant experience.

I believe my Uber account has been hacked. Tonight, I received a request to pick up an Uber VIP passenger from the US Embassy. I was asked to verify my identity by providing my full name (Viet Nguyen) and phone number ([redacted]). After sending this information, I received a message with a code that I needed to send back to confirm I am an Uber driver. Subsequently, I was asked to check my email for another code, which I also sent back. Shortly after, I received an email informing me that my password was changed. The email indicated a sign-in from Egypt with details of the login. When attempting to reset the password, neither my phone number nor email were recognized by Uber, suggesting the hacker altered my account information. I need assistance in recovering my account and potentially reclaiming lost funds due to unauthorized access.

I booked a cab from New Delhi Railway Station this morning, 01.11.[redacted], at around 7:25 am (IST). When I called the driver for his location, he insisted on knowing my destination. I mentioned Lodhi Colony, to which he refused and asked me to cancel. I refused, suggesting he cancel since he declined to come. He responded by using harsh language and continued to contact me even after I warned him. Eventually, he messaged me absurd things and later I received a penalty of Rs. 20.54 from Uber. Dear Concerned Team, I am writing to address an issue I experienced with my Uber booking for a morning drop to the Airport on November 1st at 7:15 AM from my residence in Salt Lake. I booked the Uber ride on the night of October 31st, [redacted]. The driver of Swift Dezire with the plate number WB052082 arrived on time but parked the vehicle 2 buildings away from my house. Despite signaling him to wait for 2 minutes as we were bringing down our luggage, the driver left without notice. After unsuccessfully calling him three times, we had to find another cab, causing us to arrive at the airport at 8:35 AM, missing our flight at 9:15 AM. This led to extra expenses of Rs 14,[redacted] for new flight tickets and meal coupons. Additionally, I had to reschedule a doctor's appointment in Bangalore due to the missed flight. Hello, I want to share my recent experience with Uber. I had booked a cab for 1st Nov to reach Surat Central Bus Stand. The cab was scheduled to arrive between 4:45 to 4:55 am, but it never showed up. Despite waiting for 30 minutes, the cab didn't arrive and the driver didn't communicate. Eventually, I had to take a rickshaw to catch my bus. This experience left me very disappointed with Uber's service. Their lack of reliability and poor communication led to inconvenience and added expense for me. I have always found Ola cab service to be more reliable, and this incident has deterred me from using Uber again. I hope such issues can be addressed to prevent this from happening to others. I ordered an Uber from Sullivan Station to go to the Red Sox game. The driver asked where I wanted to go, and when I hesitated, he got upset. He told me to get out of the car in the middle of traffic. I received a $1.43 refund, but I want the full refund of $1.43 and the 43 cents. The driver's behavior was unacceptable, and I believe he should be reprimanded or fired. I've reached out to customer service multiple times without a satisfactory resolution. I cannot access my account. The Google authenticator is not showing the code, and I never received backup codes. I am unable to sign in or cancel the account. I can't create a new account because my phone number is already used. I don't have the credit card information linked to the account anymore. There is no phone number available for assistance, and the help site does not provide adequate solutions for my issue.

Yesterday, I had a scheduled Uber pick-up at the Four Seasons hotel on Brickell Ave in Miami. However, there was confusion as an SUV was parked at the designated spot, making it challenging for the driver to see me waving from a distance of 40-50 yards due to traffic. Despite my attempts to get the driver's attention, he drove off without noticing me. Unfortunately, I couldn't contact him due to phone issues. A valet helped me track the driver on the app, showing him moving towards my destination on Biscayne. Today, I received messages asking for a rating and tip, which left me questioning the driver's integrity. It's been a frustrating experience, and I hope not to be charged for this missed ride.

I recently took an Uber and unfortunately encountered an issue with the driver. He asked for my phone number under the pretense of confirming Uber support, but he instead used it to hack my Uber app. This resulted in him changing my email address on the account, making it impossible for me to contact Uber to report the incident. Since my Visa card details were saved on the app for payments, he managed to charge me $99 for a ride and emptied my account. I am stuck without access to Uber and had to close my Visa account as a precaution. I also have $75 in Uber gift cards that I am unable to use due to the email change.
