I recently made a purchase on Uber Eats and unfortunately, the delivery was mishandled by the driver. The drinks were spilled all over the food, creating a mess. Despite trying to address the issue with the driver, they ignored me and drove off. I promptly submitted pictures of the incident and a refund was promised. However, it has been more than a week, and the refund has not reflected in my bank account. I am experiencing difficulty reaching Uber Eats for assistance. After providing the pictures, I was informed that the refund would take 3-5 working days to process. I placed my food order before 7 p.m., with a delivery time promised for 8:30 p.m. After calling the store at 8:50 p.m., they informed me that my order had just been received and would arrive in 20 minutes. Dissatisfied when my order still hadn't arrived by just before 9 p.m., I called back. They apologized and offered to include a milkshake to compensate for the delay. Although I was initially content with this resolution, my order finally arrived at 9:15 p.m. I had ordered 4 burgers with chips, but one burger was incorrect, missing the turkey bacon I had requested. The food was cold and seemed to have been affected by the tardiness of the delivery. Additionally, the promised milkshake was missing. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach the takeaway by phone, receiving a "user is busy" signal each time, I am frustrated as I am unable to communicate with the restaurant to address these issues.

I placed an Asda order on UberEats for fast delivery on 07/11/[redacted]. Unfortunately, my order arrived with missing items, specifically 2 Galaxy vegan crumble cookie chocolate bars. I've tried reaching out through the app multiple times since then, but have not received any response as of 09/11/[redacted]. This lack of communication is disappointing, especially considering this is a complaint about missing items and poor Customer Service. I paid for these items that were never received and it has now been 72 hours without a resolution despite sending several messages via the UberEats app. The app instructs to wait for a response but none has been provided regarding the missing items I paid for. I purchased 20 chicken nuggets and a milkshake from McDonald’s for R176. The initial driver canceled, and the app couldn't fulfill the order. When I tried to reorder, it showed a subtotal of R0, indicating a credit for the same items. However, when the order went through at another location, I was charged over R500 and received 60 nuggets and 2 milkshakes. This was unexpected and frustrating, as I can't afford such a high charge as a student. I need assistance with this issue.

I have experienced a significant issue with my recent Uber Eats order. Many items were missing, including the hash browns I ordered, and the quality of the received food was extremely poor. Additionally, the coffee was cold due to a delay in the driver picking up the order. I submitted a complaint and was only refunded £6.58, even though the refund should have been higher considering the overall situation. The order number in question is B6D38. This is the first time I have had to complain to Uber Eats, and I was hoping for better assistance in resolving this matter.

Order Number B6555 I received a small bag with only cheese bites and condiments, and I am extremely disappointed. Out of the £21.54 I paid, I was only refunded £10.50 after being charged for delivery and service fees despite not receiving more than half of the items I ordered. I specifically asked the driver to verify all items, which he agreed to do. Now I am being charged £11.50 for just 2 cheese bites and 2 condiments. This situation is unacceptable.

I placed an order with Oodles Southhall, and although it was delivered on time, a part of it was missing, specifically the Coke. Despite my attempts to contact them through the app's help tab, I have not received any response. As a result, the food has gone cold and I have been unable to eat it. I am requesting a full refund for this order. A similar incident occurred on Sunday where I only received a partial refund, and this time, I am adamant about receiving a full refund. The order remains intact and can be returned if necessary.

The food was not delivered by the driver, as they became aggressive and drove away with my order. The customer service at "Hoppa & Jo" was unhelpful when I asked for Uber's contact number. The staff suggested Googling it, but the number they provided was only for Uber drivers, not customers like me. It's been over an hour, and I still haven't reached anyone at Uber, nor have I received a refund or my meal. The driver called me at 9:15 AM, not the time indicated by Uber's records. I ordered food for my elderly aunt and uncle through my account as they were unwell. The driver called me for directions and confirmed he was at the right place. Despite this, the food was not delivered to my aunt's correct apartment, causing confusion. After unsuccessful attempts to reach the driver, I contacted UberEats support. Unfortunately, the representative, Deepak, was unhelpful and rude. He only processed a refund after much insistence on my part. I felt ignored and frustrated by the lack of assistance. I am considering switching to a different delivery service if issues like this continue.

I ordered McDonald's breakfast via Uber Eats at 9:10 am. The delivery was expected between 9:30 am and 9:50 am. However, the receipt only showed "Richmond Walk" as the delivery address, not my actual address. After informing McDonald's, they assured me the driver would call upon arrival. As time passed and the app showed the driver as 2 minutes away past 9:30 am, I contacted McDonald's again. The app then suddenly indicated the order was delivered, but to a different address. Despite them sending the delivery again, it arrived at 10:17 am when my wife had already left for work, rendering the food cold and wasted. It has been a frustrating experience, and all I am asking for is a refund as I believe that is fair given the circumstances.

I placed an order for food yesterday, but the driver mistakenly left it at 4 Theseus Way instead of my address nearby. Despite having clear instructions on where to deliver, the driver Vandana dropped it off at the wrong location. I tried to reach out but she had already left. It's frustrating when drivers don't pay attention to details like this. This isn't the first time this has happened; in the past, Harshit has also had issues with delivering late or the wrong order. I hope there are consequences for these mistakes; it's important for drivers to provide good customer service.

I placed an order yesterday that totaled more than 35 pounds. It took two hours for the order to arrive, which I understand can happen on a busy Friday night. I tried to switch my order from delivery to collection, but the only option available was the opposite. When the driver finally arrived, he initially went in the wrong direction from my house without any notice of another stop. After contacting him, he eventually showed up, but was headed to the wrong house. Upon receiving the order, I found the food and drinks squashed and the ice cream melted, while the rest of the food was cold. When I raised these issues with Uber for a refund, they claimed the food left the restaurant hot enough. I believe this response is unacceptable given the circumstances with the delivery.

Hello, I am extremely disappointed with the situation surrounding my recent order from McDonald's yesterday for £20.95. At 6:48 pm, I received a notification that my food was on its way to an address just a 4-5 minute drive from McDonald's. Despite the close distance, the app showed the driver near my location for about 8 minutes, then stayed at 2 minutes away for 8 more minutes. I attempted to contact the driver but received no response. After waiting a further 5 minutes and two more failed calls, the app suddenly changed the status to 5 minutes away, making the food's total delivery time 25 minutes. Upon arrival, the food was inedible due to being soggy from the delay and the cold weather exposure. The Quarter Pounder had a regular bun instead of a sesame one, the milkshake was banana instead of vanilla, and the Coke was flat. This order was for myself, my son, and pregnant girlfriend, and the delay forced me to purchase food elsewhere due to the unacceptable condition of the McDonald's order. I am requesting a full refund as the driver had my food for over 25 minutes before delivering it, resulting in an inedible meal. I encountered an issue when attempting to place an order. I forgot to select a tip during checkout. An error message appeared indicating insufficient funds and quoted the total amount with a 20% tip, which is more than I normally give. I typically tip 5% due to financial constraints. The total shown was $31.63. Despite trying to reorder with a 5% tip twice, the transactions failed. My bank account indicates a pending charge for the initial amount of $31.63 that supposedly did not go through. There is no order visible in my Uber account, and attempts to seek help only pertain to current or past orders, none of which include this one. Presently, I have been charged incorrectly due to the system defaulting to a 20% tip when I didn't select one. The funds have been debited from my account, no order has been placed, and I await resolution before making any new orders. I am seeking a full refund for the erroneously charged amount.

I previously mentioned this issue, but it got deleted. Last night, I placed an order at the restaurant before 6 o'clock, with an estimated delivery time of 6:35/6:55. By 7:15, the £46 order still hadn't arrived. I was informed the order was en route. At 7:45, I had to call to inquire as it hadn't arrived, and I was initially told roadworks were causing delays (no roadworks were present upon checking). It finally got to me at 8:04. The food wasn't very warm, and the delivery driver didn't attribute the delay to roadworks but rather to the restaurant's fault. This situation left me upset since I had to be up for work at 4 am and had to quickly eat before getting some rest.

I placed an order on November 11, [redacted], around noon and received a message confirming the delivery, but my food never arrived. The amount of £41.70 was deducted from my account. My colleagues and I rely on these orders during our work breaks, and it was disappointing not to receive our food. The missing order does not appear in my app history. Hello, I placed an order for food last night, and unfortunately, it was not delivered. I have evidence of messages from the driver stating that their bike had broken down, and they couldn't make the delivery. When I offered to pick up the food from them, they blocked my number. The driver falsely claimed on the app that the delivery was made. I tried to locate them in town but couldn't find them. Since the order was £49, I am now seeking a refund. It has been challenging to reach Uber customer service, and I am greatly disappointed by this experience. This is the second time a driver has failed to deliver the food and kept it for themselves. I will not be using Uber again. The order was placed using my partner's account, and I can provide their account details via Email.

Hello, I placed an order through the McDonald's App on 12/11/[redacted] at 10:30 pm. The order was confirmed, and the payment was deducted. Although the McDonald's App shows the order as delivered, I have not received it. The Uber Eats Team has been unable to access my order details since I placed the order through the McDonald's App, not Uber Eats. When they try to retrieve details using my phone number and email, they are unsuccessful. I have provided my order ID to the team, but they seem unable to check the order details with it. UberEats has charged me $43.89 for an order I did not place on November 9, [redacted]. The order was for a Black Dragon Roll and a Nabeyaki Udon from Izakaya MEW at 7:51 PM. I contacted Uber Eats customer service and was informed that I needed to discuss the refund with the restaurant directly. However, I have never used UberEats before and am disappointed by this experience. Despite seeing a promotion on the website for "BUY ONE GET ONE FREE," the customer service representative claimed it did not exist. I feel frustrated by the situation and hope to receive a prompt resolution.
