Dear Concerned, I was looking into getting an auto insurance quote last night and mentioned the possibility of working for a ride-sharing company to Geico. Unfortunately, they won't provide coverage if he is considering driving for them and now require an email confirmation that he doesn't work for Uber or Uber Eats. Can you please confirm this information for my husband, Edgar Alastre, with the following details: DOB 11/07/[redacted], address [redacted] Caminito Sulmona, San Diego, CA [redacted]. I have explored opportunities with Uber Eats but never proceeded with their service. Geico needs verification that my husband does not drive for any rideshare or delivery service before we can purchase a policy. I previously reached out for assistance regarding erroneous charges on my credit card bill. On January 29, 30, and 31, there were six unknown charges on our account. Bank of America suspected fraud and offered to investigate. They stated the charges seemed like subscriptions, specifically mentioning Uber Eats which we have never used. Despite attempting to contact Uber Eats using the provided phone number (which was inactive), other online numbers were also not working. When I placed my first McDonald's order, I encountered an error on the app that required me to reorder for it to go through. I had to reset my entire order, but eventually, the second attempt was successful. Despite the inconvenience, I assumed everything was sorted. Later, my brother received a notification about another order being prepared, which confused me as I believed I only placed one order. The UberEats app seemed to have a glitch as I didn't receive two order confirmations. Additionally, I never received any inquiries from McDonald's regarding the duplicate order. I would like to request a full refund for one of the orders.

We have placed several orders with UE recently, only to receive incorrect and lower value orders. Tonight, we ordered $36 worth of food from Checkers through UE, waited nearly 2 hours for delivery, and received the wrong $10 order. We cannot eat this. I am requesting a full and prompt refund. The driver did not verify the order with us or ensure its accuracy. If UE does not address this promptly, I will consider taking legal action. This experience has been frustrating, and I am disappointed as a formerly loyal UE customer.

On April 21, [redacted], I placed an order at Kentucky Fried Chicken, but encountered issues with the delivery. Despite my attempts to contact Uber Eats, I have not been successful in reaching them. When I called Kentucky Fried Chicken to address the problem, I received rude treatment and was informed that Uber Eats is responsible. As I continue to seek a resolution, I plan to contact Discover Card for assistance. My order included items such as 3pc Crunchy chicken which was substituted with 3pc original chicken, a missing lemonade, 2 pc. BBQ sauce, 2 pc. Honey, 12 Choc. chip cookies replaced with a small lemon cake, and finally, 8 hot wings which were the only correct items. I am seeking either a refund or credit for the order discrepancy. We waited an hour and a half for our food to be picked up from the restaurant, ordered at 6:40 p.m., as there was a delay in getting a driver to our location. Then, as our food was close to being delivered, the tracking app indicated a significant delay as the driver accepted another pick up far from our house. This detour caused our order to be delayed by another 45 minutes. My husband, Michael W., called the driver who confirmed being close to our location but redirected by the service to another pick up spot. Our order was placed at Uncle Archie’s Grill and we are seeking a full refund due to the inconvenience caused.

I ordered food from a shop through Uber Eats, but the shop cancelled my order because they were not open. Uber Eats charged me for the purchase, stating it was a "guarantee" that I had sufficient funds. According to their help section, it may take up to 10 days for the refund to show in my bank account. However, my partner has experienced similar issues without receiving refunds for over a month. I have screenshots to prove the situation. I recently had a disappointing experience with my first Uber Eats order, number 6419d. I had a delivery scheduled with Shane's Rib Shack for April 25th between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Regrettably, I received an email stating my order was cancelled at 6:02 p.m. Since I wasn't near my phone, I only realized after 7 p.m. when my food didn't arrive. The email didn't provide a reason for the cancellation or who was responsible. When I sought assistance through the Uber Eats app, I was informed multiple times that Shane's Rib Shack cancelled it due to being busy. However, Shane's Rib Shack denied this, showing me their order records. They assured me they hadn't cancelled my order. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and find out who cancelled my order. This experience has left me dissatisfied, and unless this issue is resolved, I will not be using Uber Eats again. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I placed my order at 11:44 PM last night through the app. I was expecting it to arrive between 12:10-12:30 AM, but it didn't show up. After calling the restaurant at 12:35, I was informed that my food was just sent out for delivery. However, at 1:03 AM, my order still hadn't arrived. When I called again, the staff member seemed confused and checked the system only to realize that they had forgotten to make my pizza. After a series of excuses, they promised to rush the order. Finally, at 1:30 AM, I received a poorly made cheese pizza instead of the Caprese pizza I had ordered. Disappointed by the whole experience with Pizza Nova Toronto.

I tried to order Uber Eats using my girlfriend's phone number, but it said there was already an account connected to it. I then used my own phone number and encountered the same issue, even though I had never ordered Uber Eats before. I searched online for help on your website, but there was no way to contact anyone for assistance. I am disappointed with the lack of support available and frustrated that I cannot proceed with my order. I had planned to spend $60-$70 for my family tonight, but now I am unable to do so due to your faulty system. It's frustrating that there is no option to speak to someone for help. I will be leaving a negative rating for your service. I will now consider ordering from elsewhere, such as Applebee's.

I attempted to place an order at a Vietnamese restaurant in Pasadena. I encountered an internal server error during checkout and tried twice to no avail, receiving the same error message. I then removed the items from my cart and placed an order at another restaurant within the same chain but a different location successfully. Upon checking, I noticed that I have been charged by both restaurants and they both claim to have delivered the food. I only intended to place one order, yet the app prompted me to reorder after the initial error. I seek a refund for one of the orders as I never intended to make two orders, assuming I would only be charged once for a single order as per my initial confirmation.

I placed an order around 3:30-3:45 PM this afternoon on the 28th of April through your service for Bob Evans in O'Fallon, IL. The delivery time was supposed to be 4:30, but I only received it at 4:51. This is problem number one. Problem number two is the receipt I received showed $33.48, which included a $4.75 tip, but their receipt shows I paid $23.81. That's a big difference. Thirdly, when the driver dropped off the food, he expected another tip, didn't apologize for being late, and seemed rushed. The order number is 672A4, the driver's name was Jiorden, the phone number on the order is [redacted], and the name is Stephen Alltop paying by card ending in [redacted]. I expect this matter to be resolved promptly and to my satisfaction. It is on Uber Eats to ensure smooth operations. I am requesting a total refund due to the mentioned issues resulting in my food being cold and unsatisfactory to eat. Can I expect a response by 4/30/[redacted]? That should be enough time to address this issue.

I experienced an issue with an Uber Eats order placed 2 weeks ago where the payment was deducted, but the order wasn't processed. After reaching out through the app, I was informed that the charge was for an order supposedly from a year ago, marked as delivered, with a complaint submitted the day after, which doesn't make sense since I never received the food. Despite multiple attempts to address this, I only receive repetitive responses unrelated to the problem or no response at all. The receipt I received via email pertained to a different order on a different day with incorrect details. I have been trying tirelessly to resolve this issue and obtain a refund of $41.23, but my concerns seem to be disregarded.

Hello, on March 24, [redacted], I placed an order (#5DB58) and then realized I needed to add an item. I contacted the restaurant immediately, and they advised me to cancel the original order and place a new one with the additional item. I followed their instructions, understanding I would lose the service fee and tip. I waited for the refund on my card, anticipating it within 5-7 business days. When it didn't show up, I reached out to Uber Eats chat support today but my issue was unresolved, and the chat ended abruptly. The support team claimed I wasn't entitled to a refund because the restaurant had accepted the original order. I find this unacceptable given the circumstances. I strongly believe that I should not be charged for food I did not receive, especially after discussing the situation with the restaurant. Thank you for looking into this matter further.

Uber Eats failed to notify me that multiple deliveries were added to my order. I have been waiting for 40 minutes since my order left the restaurant, and it is still not here. The food will likely be cold since it is being delivered in winter by bicycle. I am extremely frustrated and would like a refund due to the extensive delay in delivery since it left the restaurant at 7pm. The estimated time keeps changing on the app, further extending my wait. I don't feel it is fair to pay full price for such poor service. Cold food is unacceptable, and I expect a refund for this disappointing experience.

I placed an order nearly 90 minutes ago that has not been delivered. After contacting the Tim Horton's location, I was informed that the driver did not show up, leaving my food waiting. I was advised to try Skip the Dishes as they do not face these issues like Uber does. Attempting to contact Uber through the app's chat option was unsuccessful, resulting in a frustrating experience. Upon cancelling my order, I was charged nearly 8 dollars for the cancellation, a situation I find ridiculous. This has been the worst food delivery experience for me, unlike my satisfactory experiences with Uber's transportation service. I am disappointed and would like a refund of the 8 dollars. I am left wondering why Uber's driver failed to pick up the food altogether. I hope to have this matter resolved soon.

We spent almost $50 on this order and then another $30 this morning. The driver picked up our Harvey’s and apparently had to make another trip, but it wasn't on the way; it was backward to Limeridge and passed Mohawk. The Harvey’s is in Fennel. I messaged him to express my concerns about our food being soggy after he stopped for quite a while. I am pretty upset as I spend a lot of money weekly, and now our Harvey’s burgers are cold and like slop. I spend all this time waiting and then trying to find a number to contact you. I am very upset; it's a waste of money and we have cold, soggy food. He should have picked up our food after he stopped for so long. I am not happy at all, and I don't think I will be ordering from you anymore. The last few orders that were mistakes also never received any credit.

I ordered KFC from Uber Eats, but when the delivery arrived, it was completely wrong. I contacted KFC, but they directed me to Uber Eats. I couldn't find a contact number, so I filled out a form in the help section. We haven't heard back yet. The website promised a full credit if we reordered within an hour, so we did, but even the second delivery was wrong. The driver, Roger, was unable to help. I received an order that was incorrect. I initially ordered a chicken sandwich combo with red beans and rice or fruit punch, a biscuit, mashed potatoes and gravy, and an Apple pie totaling $25 with added tip for the restaurant and driver. Upon delivery, I received a chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy and a drink instead of the chicken sandwich I requested. I paid for the incorrect order and now seek a partial refund or a correct delivery of my order promptly. These errors are frustrating, especially in difficult times. This morning, I placed an order at Starbucks for my morning coffee and a sandwich. Unfortunately, I only received the cold sandwich upon delivery, missing my essential coffee. I found the automated responses unhelpful and impersonal when trying to resolve the issue. Despite expressing that I did not want a refund but the missing coffee itself, I was only refunded for the coffee, not the associated tax. The lack of a human touch in customer service left me frustrated with the overall experience. Hopefully, they can improve their system to accommodate such situations better in the future.
