I recently downloaded and installed TurboTax [redacted] Home & Business on my Aspire 5 laptop from your site. However, upon launching the program, I encounter an issue with the TurboTax Activation screen displaying as a white square without the activation code entry location. I have taken several troubleshooting steps including adjusting display resolution, restarting the router/modem, deactivating Norton [redacted] Anti-Virus, uninstalling Norton Anti-tracking, disabling ExpressVPN, running IP Config command line tool, and configuring TCP/IP settings for my wifi. Despite contacting support previously, the issue remains unresolved. The technician provided a key for online use, but I prefer using the software on my computer. I encountered an issue with the TurboTax Deluxe program related to dependents. When asked if I have children or support another person, if I answered "NO," TurboTax automatically filled out form [redacted] incorrectly, resulting in potential double taxation. Despite checking a box during the interview that should have addressed child care credit, it did not prevent this error. To workaround this, I had to manually enter "0" in Part-I-C line 15e of form [redacted] to avoid the double taxation. Despite spending time with a representative named Dianah, we could not identify the problem initially. Eventually, with her assistance, I found the solution. It seems there is a glitch in the program regarding answering the dependent question, which could lead to financial repercussions if not caught. - Willard A., Jr.

I have downloaded TurboTax Deluxe, but I encountered an issue during the activation process. The section where I should input the license code would not accept any text, and the activation screen showed as a blank white box. I attempted to use a different browser, but the activation screen did not display at all. Then, I tried using the [redacted] CD, which prompted me to choose the TurboTax type and stated it was free, assuring payment only upon completion and submission. I could access this online, which seemed reasonable considering my purchase of the CD for $49.88.

Subject: Assistance Needed with Order TTWCC[redacted]19 I started my tax filing process using Turbo Tax Free Edition, but the program directed me to upgrade to Deluxe to potentially enhance my refunds, particularly for HSHC. Despite upgrading, my refunds did not see any increase, resulting in an additional cost of $84.54 that I paid using my father's Visa card. I have been using TurboTax for 8 years now, and I have never encountered this issue before. Every year, I file both state and federal taxes simultaneously through e-filing. However, during my recent filing, I encountered a problem at the end where I was unable to proceed due to an error about missing Social Security Numbers or EINs for Dependent Care providers. I don't have a Dependent Care provider, but the system seems to think otherwise. Despite indicating that I do not have any Dependent Care Credit, the software still shows someone without a SSN or EIN, preventing me from e-filing my state taxes along with the federal. I have revisited the Dependent Care Credit section multiple times, affirming that I do not have any credits, but the issue persists. I hope to avoid redoing all my work only to face the same problem. Does anyone have any insights on how to resolve this error?

I am having trouble finalizing my California state tax return. The system is prompting me to check for an update regarding my mortgage interest adjustment, but I am unable to find the update option on the website. Despite logging in repeatedly, I cannot locate the necessary update to proceed with my taxes. How can I access the updated online tax form to address the mortgage interest adjustment and complete my tax filing? What is the expected timeframe for resolving this issue?

I was in the process of downloading TurboTax Deluxe on my desktop when a sudden power outage caused me to lose progress right after entering the license code. Upon attempting to resume, I was prompted to enter the license code again. However, the system indicated that the code belonged to a different account. It appears that the power interruption led me to inadvertently create two accounts. I am unable to access either account now. Can both accounts be deleted so I can restart the process? I am unable to access my previous tax information or log in. I have attempted to use both my husband Glenn D. Davis's details and mine, but it keeps indicating we do not have an account under his name. When I try to access my account, an old email address that I can no longer retrieve shows up. I am facing issues accessing my [redacted] tax returns as I have lost the password I used that year. Despite filing my federal and state taxes on time in [redacted], I never received my refunds. I have been using both TurboTax Home & Business and TurboTax Deluxe for years to prepare taxes for my family. TurboTax Home & Business provides five submissions to the IRS and State, and I buy TurboTax Deluxe to get an additional five submissions. This tax year, I purchased both programs as usual, but I encountered an issue when downloading TurboTax Deluxe on my Mac. Despite changing the download name, it keeps recognizing it as a duplicate of TurboTax [redacted], preventing me from having both programs simultaneously. This experience is frustrating for me as I have successfully downloaded both programs in the past. I am puzzled if there has been a recent change that prohibits having two different TurboTax programs on one device.

Hello, I am currently attempting to file my taxes using Turbotax Deluxe, but I am encountering an issue. Upon entering the Employee ID for two of my W-2s from Sark-Wire Corporation in Albany, NY, and Saint Peter Hospital in Albany, NY, I am unable to proceed to the next page. An error message states, "we have hit a snag... go to the previous page." However, the W-2 from Marshall processes without any problems. Interestingly, when I input an Employee ID from a previous employer, everything progresses smoothly to the page requesting my social security number. This issue seems to specifically affect the W-2s from Sark-Wire Corporation in Albany, NY and Saint Peter Hospital in Albany, NY. Thank you.

I filed for unemployment last year without the tax break deducted. I was informed that the IRS would make the adjustment automatically, but it hasn't been adjusted yet. I think I should receive a refund for last year. How do I go about getting this refund? This year, when using TurboTax to file my taxes, the instructions seem to be the same as last year. Since I did not receive my refund last year, should I deduct the $10,[redacted] before filing or rely on it being done automatically? Can I apply the deduction from last year to this year's taxes?

When I e-filed my tax return expecting a $[redacted]+ refund, it got rejected by the IRS. After correcting it, my refund decreased to $[redacted]. However, when I input the same information into H&R Block's software, the refund goes back up to $[redacted]+. The issue appears to be related to our two children who were 17 and under in [redacted]. Even though I fixed one of their Social Security numbers, the software still shows the lower refund amount. Since I already paid for TurboTax, could you please help me with this discrepancy? I used TurboTax Free to file my [redacted] Federal & State taxes on 01/19/22. I am unsure if I claimed the earned income tax credit. The IRS confirmed receiving my Federal & State returns. My State refund has been deposited already. The IRS accepted my Federal tax on 01/24/22, and TurboTax estimated my refund would arrive by 02/11/22. I've heard there might be a delay for refunds with an earned income tax credit, is this accurate? The IRS mentioned this delay. I have direct deposit set up and I have not received any notification about when to expect my refund.

In [redacted], TurboTax made an error by failing to include all of my income on the original Form [redacted] I received for filing. The IRS noticed the mistake. After I notified TurboTax and sent an email regarding this issue, someone from management contacted me. TurboTax then sent me an email with a revised Form 1040X from the IRS. The IRS is requesting a copy of this note to be sent to them. TurboTax can either mail me a copy, which I can then forward to the IRS, or I can send it myself. Thank you. Regards, R.J.C. I have been waiting for 2 hours for a response. There seems to be an issue with my account, and I want it permanently cancelled since I do not intend on using it again. Despite multiple requests, the account is still active and charges are being incurred. I need confirmation that my account is clear, my name removed from TurboTax, and assurance that the account will be closed. I have been told everything is fine, but my trust has been shaken by the lack of definitive answers. Please provide evidence of the account closure and ensure any pending articles are closed. I am done with TurboTax, and if there are unfinished articles for tax purposes, please skip me. Confirm if you can cancel the latest TurboTax article. I rely on email communication, so please ensure all correspondence is sent there.

I have purchased the following products: TY2020 TurboTax Online Premier DIY, TY2020 TurboTax Online Premier DIY State, Turbotax Online State - Premier [redacted], TurboTax Online Premier [redacted], TurboTax Online Premier [redacted], Turbotax Online State -Premier [redacted]. Upon logging in, I receive a message stating 'Virginia, welcome back to your 8th year with TurboTax!' However, when I contact customer support with my SupportID, they are unable to recognize my login email. I have tried reaching out through chat and the community but have not had any success. The responses seem scripted and lack helpful intent. Every time I attempt to file my taxes electronically, it gets rejected by the IRS. Despite trying to seek assistance from TurboTax, I have not received any help. I was hoping to resolve this issue with TurboTax's support before giving up, but it has proved to be impossible.

I have spoken to two different agents in regards to my TurboTax Deluxe download, originally purchased from Amazon. I successfully downloaded the software, but the access key is no longer working. Even on the only computer I downloaded it to, the software is prompting for the key which is not accepted. Intuit/TurboTax agents informed me that an order was placed and the software would be added to my account within 2-3 hours. I am still unable to see the [redacted] Deluxe version on my Intuit account. I urgently need access to the [redacted] Deluxe version to correct and amend my [redacted] return. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
