I posted a chair on Gumtree and got a quick response. The person said they couldn't come see it but would send an agent, asking for my PayPal email. PayPal then supposedly sent £[redacted] instead of the £[redacted] I asked for. They required an Amazon gift card money pack to release the extra £[redacted]. This seems like a scam.

I have a Paypal UK account. I recently changed my password without any issues. After finding the information I needed in the help section, I logged out. When I tried to log back in, I received a message about irregular activity and was asked to provide a passcode to my old registered number which I no longer have. Adding to my troubles, I am currently stuck in the Philippines since my flight back in April was canceled. My bank card expired in June, and as I can't renew it until I return home, I can't use Paypal with it. Luckily, I discovered I can transfer funds directly from my bank account without my debit card, which is what I was attempting to do. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thanks, G.B.

I am currently unable to access my account due to an outdated mobile number registered with PayPal. Even though I spoke with a representative who updated my mobile details, I still receive a verification code on my old number for the 2-Step Authentication. Despite receiving confirmation via email that the new UK number ending in 0*****[redacted] was added, my account won't recognize it for logging in. I urge Paypal to rectify this issue promptly, replacing the old number, [redacted]0, with the updated one. Failure to access my account before December 16th could result in a £9 charge. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you, K. Wood

I am having trouble logging into my PayPal account. Despite setting a new password, the system is asking for a code to be sent for a callback that never happens. Even after speaking with a chat agent and attempting to call the [redacted] number, I have not been able to resolve the issue. I simply want to close my account before any upcoming annual charges are applied, as I do not plan to use it. It seems that access to my account is being deliberately hindered until after the 15th of December. You have my permission to close the account without charging me fees. I have documented my attempts to reach out to ensure I am not penalized for being unable to connect with support. I am anxiously awaiting your prompt response so I can finalize the account closure before the upcoming charges.

Dear Sir, I am disappointed with how Paypal handled my dispute involving my purchase (Case ID PP-D-[redacted]9). I followed Paypal's return instructions by sending back the wrong goods to the seller through SingPost and provided all the necessary documents for tracking. Despite this, Paypal denied my claim without providing any clear reasons. I attempted to reopen the case with Paypal, but I have been unable to reach any Paypal staff or find an email to communicate my issue and seek help in obtaining a refund from the seller. This situation suggests a case of fraud where the seller sent incorrect products, yet Paypal did not protect buyers from such conduct. As a loyal customer of Paypal, I expect them to safeguard customers from irresponsible sellers who deceive them with incorrect products. I have reattached photos of my returns via SingPost as evidence. I request your assistance in having a Paypal staff member contact me promptly. Thank you and best regards, J.L. [redacted]

I am having difficulty closing my PayPal account because I cannot remember my password. PayPal is sending a code to an outdated phone number despite me updating it. Their responses to my emails are standard and suggest logging into my account. When I call, I am directed to the website. I am unsure how to proceed. Thank you for your assistance. -A J Doree

I am having trouble accessing my PayPal account because I forgot my password. Despite having updated my phone number, PayPal is sending a code to an old number, making it impossible for me to reset my password. PayPal, please either close my account or ensure you use my new phone number to contact me. A. J. Doree

Hello, I haven't used my account in years and have recently changed my mobile number. I sold something on eBay and now need to access PayPal. However, I no longer have access to my old mobile numbers because I have moved. Due to a new security protocol, I can't log into my account to update my information. I tried contacting the UK number, but it redirected me to the website without helping me. Can you assist me in updating my mobile number so I can regain access to my account? Thank you.

I can no longer access my PayPal registered email or phone number, making it impossible to log in or use any of their help services. The phone support has a long wait time of 40 minutes, which is inconvenient for me. I just want to close my inactive account, as I'm worried about my credit card information stored there. Since I can't reach them via email, I'm wondering if there is a physical address where I can send a letter to cancel my account.

My account has been permanently limited by PayPal. I patiently waited for [redacted] days, as instructed, and finally received an email allowing me to transfer my funds. However, I encountered an issue since there is no bank linked to my PayPal account, and I am unable to add one. Despite my efforts to reach out through email and Twitter for the past two weeks, I only receive automated responses reiterating that my money will be held for the designated [redacted] days. PayPal has not provided any guidance on how to transfer my funds, whether by check or any other means.

I placed an order on the merchant's website, but the transaction failed. Despite this, my card was charged. I've attempted to contact the merchant through customer service and email without success. I escalated the issue to PayPal, but they closed the dispute. Now, my bank is requesting a 6-digit authorization code to proceed with the reimbursement due to the lack of order confirmation or product received.

I have encountered unauthorized charges from asknet Solutions AG for an order I did not place on December 10, [redacted]. Despite trying to report it as unauthorized, I mistakenly selected "product/service not received." After realizing and correcting my error, PayPal refused to refund me. This is the second time this company has attempted to charge me for unordered items, as they previously tried on November 17, [redacted], for £52.22, which PayPal refunded after I reported it correctly. How can I address this issue effectively as I have already spent a significant amount of time attempting to resolve it? I am unsure about the products or services provided by asknet Solutions AG.

I initiated a dispute for a duplicate payment (Ref: PP-D-[redacted]6), but it was closed shortly after without giving me the chance to submit supporting documents. I want to clarify that the double charge was made by PayPal, not the seller. The payment was deducted in GBP from my PayPal balance and also in ZAR from my bank account. I need the case reopened and further investigated as this appears to be fraudulent activity by PayPal.

My recent Paypal account got restricted, and to access my Ebay sale funds, I need to provide proof of shipment for delivered items, a passport photo, and receipts for the sold items. I don't have receipts for old purchases from years back. Any suggestions on how to proceed? The phone number I found for Paypal ends calls abruptly. Wondering about the legitimacy of their actions.

On December 16th, 20', I noticed two unauthorized transactions totalling £12.99 and £45.00 deducted from my Santander account, along with two payments of £20.95 each (totaling £41.90p) from my Barclays account, resulting in a total of £99.89 in fraudulent charges. After contacting PayPal, they assured me of a refund for the unauthorized transactions, but I am yet to receive it. I deleted my debit card for security purposes, and now I am unsure how the refund will be processed without it. Despite my efforts to reach out to PayPal by phone, I have been unsuccessful in getting through. Additionally, there was another fraudulent transaction today for £26.94, which I did not authorize and have since resolved with my bank. The amount was returned as it was mistakenly set up as a direct debit without my consent. I kindly request urgent resolution on this matter as it has been a distressing three days, and I am considering closing my eBay and PayPal accounts. I sincerely hope this issue can be resolved promptly, as it has been a challenging experience to find assistance. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I recently updated my mobile number, which led to me being unable to access my Paypal account as it requires a code sent to my old number, which is inactive now. I attempted to reach out to Paypal by messaging them, but they require a sign-in (which I can't do) and calling them resulted in being disconnected. Their customer service has been disappointing; I am struggling to get assistance. I simply need to update my number to regain access to my account. Any help you can provide would be welcomed.

Over two years ago, I requested to close my account via email. I'm now being charged for not using it and your failure to cancel it, which is unacceptable. Please proceed with the closure as initially requested. Despite not having updated contact details like my phone number or address, you may refer to the unchanged email address for verification. Please, do as previously instructed and close my account.

I recently purchased an Epiphone 5W amp head, Order No. [redacted]47, from Canada. I attempted to pay using my MasterCard, but the transaction was declined, so I used my Visa debit card instead. To my surprise, my MasterCard has been charged approximately £[redacted], under reference number *JAYAJAMES[redacted]1. Can you confirm if this payment has gone through as it does not seem to be related to the amp purchase? My Visa debit payment did go through successfully. Thank you. Premanand G.

I made a purchase on December 11th, and my account was charged £[redacted].76 for 4 items from YUCCAMALL. I tried to cancel the order via email before receiving a dispatch confirmation. The clothing was shipped despite my cancellation attempt. The website I ordered from is www.duioml.com. Researching this site now reveals warnings to avoid it. I fear the items may be fake or counterfeit. I am concerned about unauthorized charges. Any advice or reassurance would be appreciated.
