My Instagram account has been hacked by another user, [redacted], in conjunction with another hacker who accessed my computer using an Xbox connection account. I don't use or have ever used an Xbox. The hacker who compromised my computer was [redacted] I have reported this to Microsoft, and Instagram is also aware of the situation. I have attempted to change my password and delete my account, but it is not allowing me to do so. Every time I try to log in, my password has been changed. My Instagram account is at risk of being terminated due to unauthorized pictures being posted with my profile picture. This is a serious breach of privacy. My account, @theyyluvlissa, is currently temporarily locked. I am unable to access the email linked to it for verification. I have tried various methods to regain access, such as confirming my identity with a photo on my profile and using the forgot password feature. Despite receiving a code to one of the linked emails, the process gets stuck on a loading screen after entering the email I can currently access. I have attempted this on different devices and networks but encountered the same issue. It appears to be a problem within the app itself. I would appreciate a prompt response to help resolve this matter.

Unfortunately, my daughter's and my accounts were hacked. The hacker changed our email addresses, phone numbers, and login names, making it impossible for us to access our accounts, especially because the names were altered too. I contacted [redacted], and while I received a response, I am hesitant to trust it fully as it could be a scam. It is distressing because my daughter tried to help with a friend verification and ended up getting hacked as well. We are unable to receive any codes or emails for verification. Today, I received a code that seems legitimate, suggesting it might be from Instagram. However, upon entering the code, a second step requires a 6-digit code from an app we have never used, leaving us stuck in the same predicament.

Hello, I’m Debora Aballa. I lost access to my Instagram account on June 18th due to a hacker who changed my username, password, email, and phone number. The hacker altered my username to _annable.alvin21_ and replaced my profile picture with that of a random white woman. Subsequently, they deleted my photos and uploaded images of the same woman. I want to emphasize that I didn't disclose my password or email information. The hacker did not breach Instagram's database directly. I sought assistance from an online source to recover my account and was informed that the hacker activated a 2FA security named Metasploit, requesting $[redacted] to disable it. As a college student without a job, I can't afford this fee. I've already paid various individuals to help reclaim my account without success. Could someone please assist me in retrieving my account without any monetary requirements? I've exhausted my resources and am desperate to regain control of my account.

Non ero al corrente del phishing e sono preoccupata se il mio account fosse a rischio di hacking. Ho iniziato la procedura per proteggere il mio account, inserendo il codice ricevuto via email e cambiando la password quasi tutti i giorni. Dopo circa 5/6 giorni, quando provo ad accedere, appare solo "caricamento in corso..." senza mai riuscire ad entrare nel profilo. I am facing an issue with my disabled Instagram account. Despite providing evidence that I am the rightful owner and following the steps outlined in the help center, Instagram has not resolved the problem. They requested a photo of myself with a specific code written on a piece of paper, which I promptly provided, but it has been three weeks with no response. I am confused as to why my account was disabled as I only post personal photos. I had a significant following on the account, and it held sentimental value to me. Hello, my Instagram account was hacked yesterday. When I checked my settings, I noticed that the email linked wasn't mine ([redacted]) but [redacted] I tried to change it, but then I got hacked and can no longer access my account. The hacker has changed the phone number and password. I didn't receive an email notification from Instagram about the email change, which might have helped prevent the hack. My account, called rosa_9.4, is now posting pictures of me with bitcoin-related screenshots. I've tried everything to recover it, including following the video selfie verification instructions, but I'm unable to send the video. Now, I can't log in to seek support or redo the video selfie. I have a backup account named ro_9.4, and I've been unsuccessful in reporting the hacker's posts. I'm concerned because my followers may not realize the account is hacked and are liking the posts. I am experiencing two related issues with my Instagram account. Firstly, my stories feed is not loading correctly. I can only see the space to add my own stories in the top left corner, while the rest of the screen remains black. Secondly, when I search for people and attempt to view their stories, they are also not loading for me. I have tried accessing Instagram through the browser version on both my phone and laptop, but encountered the same problems. I reached out to others to see if they were having similar issues, but they confirmed that their Instagram was working fine. These problems started yesterday after I interacted with a suspicious account that followed me. I suspect it might have been a hacker. Despite blocking the account, the issues have persisted.

I need help with my Instagram account. It was hacked, and the hacker changed the password, email, and phone number associated with it. An acquaintance asked me to vote for them in a program election and needed to send a link to a phone number linked to my Instagram account. I now realize it was a scam. I provided my number, and shortly after, I lost access to my account. Instagram notified me of the email change, but I couldn't reverse it. Despite following Instagram's support steps, I couldn't regain control. I tried to verify my identity with a selfie video or my original email, but the options didn't work. All my pictures, including my profile photo, were deleted. Attempting to enter the original email failed, even after providing hints. I don't know what to do next and lack a secondary account to warn my friends. I'm disappointed and frustrated by the lack of direct communication with the Instagram team. I will create a new account to reconnect with friends, as I no longer have their contact information.

Hello, I need some help with my Instagram account. A few months ago, I activated two-factor authentication with the Duo Mobile app. Everything was working fine, and I even saved the backup codes. But when I logged out and tried to use the backup codes, nothing worked. I had already uninstalled the Duo Mobile app. I sent several selfie videos to Instagram, but they said it didn't work because I don't have a photo of myself on my account (just photos of me in my story highlights). Hi there, My Instagram account got banned due to excessive activity on a site similar to Instagram. Now, they're asking me to verify my identity, but the issue is they are sending the verification code to my old phone number that I no longer have access to. I've tried to switch it to my email, and the code is being sent there successfully. However, when I try to use the code to log in, the process keeps loading indefinitely without completing. My Instagram account has been compromised by a hacker who changed my username, email, and phone number. Despite my attempts to regain control by changing passwords, the hacker's alterations have locked me out completely. I have proof that I am the legitimate owner of the account, but I am currently unable to access it or use my saved backup codes.
