I booked a flight with reference VNKRVI for two people on Air India flight AI142 departing on October 11 at 20:25. Unfortunately, I have not received my new passport, so I am unable to request an e-visa. I have a few inquiries: What is the deadline for modifying my booking with Air India? Will I be eligible for a refund if I have to cancel my ticket and book a new one for a later date? Can the other traveler use the original booking for the initial date without any issues, considering we share the same booking number? Can I change my flight multiple times? Thank you for your assistance and understanding of the situation. - Aude V.

I chose to fly with Air-India, even though other airlines are more affordable, to show my support for India. I have two tickets for the January 25th flight from Chicago to Mumbai with the flight number AI126. My travel agent provided a printout with the Air-India logo, stating booking details and flight information. The seat numbers listed for the Chicago to Delhi leg are 42A and 42C. When I contacted Air-India, I was informed that those seats were not assigned. I have matching seat numbers for the other part of the journey. The Air-India booking agent I spoke to was polite, but the background noise made it challenging to communicate. I would appreciate if I could have the seats that are indicated on my printout and would like to request professional behavior from the employees. I am adamant about having the seats as per the printout.

My flight from Bhubaneswar to Mumbai on Dec 16th, [redacted] has been delayed with a lack of clear information given to passengers. The Air India team at the airport is handling the situation poorly by suggesting passengers take refunds. Air India should be focused on providing service, not just refunds. The team's unavailability at the airport is concerning, especially when passengers need assistance. It's disappointing that the staff seems untrained to manage these issues, leaving passengers feeling disrespected and their time wasted. Travelers rely on airlines like Air India to help them reach their destinations efficiently, so this lack of support is frustrating.

While traveling with Air India on March 4, [redacted], from Vadodara to Delhi, my party did not receive our three bags upon arrival. We were assured that our luggage would be delivered to our home address in Atlanta, USA, the following morning as we had an international flight to catch that same night. Despite filling out the necessary forms and contacting Pune Air India office when no updates were provided, they claimed they were unable to assist and directed us back to Air India. Multiple attempts to reach out via phone and email have been fruitless. This situation has been incredibly frustrating, especially after paying extra for the baggage at Vadodara airport, which was supposed to be included for international travelers. Experiencing this level of service is disappointing and concerning, prompting us to consider involving local news outlets to share our ordeal and seek resolution for our missing belongings.

I made a reservation for two tickets under the names Toran Wadhwani and Mala Ahuja from Bhopal to Maldives on February 27th for a flight scheduled on May 10th. Unfortunately, our flights, Bhopal to Mumbai with Air India AI[redacted], and Mumbai to Male with Air India AI[redacted], were canceled without any prior notice. Upon reaching Mumbai airport, we were informed about the cancellation and rebooked for a flight on May 11th. Subsequently, we discovered that our return flights, from Male to Mumbai on Air India AI[redacted], and Mumbai to Bhopal on Air India AI[redacted], were also canceled with no communication. We had to book another flight, resulting in a wasted 1.5 days of accommodations. I am seeking assistance as I would like a refund or compensation for the financial loss of $[redacted] incurred due to these unexpected changes.

Hello, yesterday I booked two Air India tickets from Paris to Delhi departing on 24/11 and returning on 13/12 under the names of MR and Mme Viret in flexible economy class. The payment was made with a Platinum credit card and has been processed by the bank. Unfortunately, the seats I reserved are no longer available on the website. After the payment, the site started spinning and crashed, leaving me without a booking number or tickets. I am quite worried as there are very few seats left on this flight, and we are traveling with friends who already have their tickets.

I had pre-booked my ticket, but an unexpected emergency arose. I contacted the Air India call center on May 16, [redacted], at 12:10 PM UK time to inquire about canceling a one-way ticket for one person. The agent assured me it could be done with a penalty. I planned to call back in two days to proceed. Once I received confirmation, I purchased another ticket. When I called back, I was informed it couldn't be canceled. Promises of updates within 24 hours were made but not fulfilled despite multiple follow-ups. This led to frustration and disappointment as the agents kept promising callbacks and emails that never materialized. The lack of communication and incorrect information provided by the agents have left me feeling deceived and upset, especially since I needed to visit my sick grandmother. I have interacted with several supervisors and floor managers but to no avail. The continuous ignorance and broken promises have significantly tarnished my perception of Air India's customer service. I urge the company to either cancel my onward journey ticket with the penalty or compensate me for the misinformation provided. I have spent hours on calls seeking resolution but have been met with unfulfilled assurances.

Hello, I am seeking clarification regarding the discrepancies in flight change and flight cancellation rules across the four economy ticket categories available on your website: web special, super value, flexi saver, and flexible economy. Additionally, I am interested in traveling from Tel Aviv to New Delhi on Friday, September 22. I noticed there are currently no flights displayed for that date on your website. Could you please advise if there is a possibility of additional flights being scheduled for that day? Thank you for your assistance. I eagerly await your response. Warm regards, A.Z.

During my father's recent trip to the UK, he encountered an unexpected request at the Air India check-in counter. Despite having a valid visa, passport, ticket, and COVID certificate, he was asked to provide his sponsor's ID and proof of their residency in the UK. This made him uncomfortable as he considers such information to be confidential. I believe that Air India staff should clarify their authority to request this additional documentation, particularly when passengers already possess all necessary travel documents. I am seeking clarity on whether this practice is a standard procedure for Air India and would appreciate any official documentation that outlines the airline's requirement for passengers traveling to the UK.

On May 28th, I booked two tickets for my wife and myself to travel from Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram on June 14th and June 23rd. After booking, I noticed that my name was incorrectly listed as "Daniel Chacko Mrs (ADT)." I contacted customer service but they were unable to assist me with the correction. I am a seventy-one-year-old man and it will be challenging for me to handle this on the day of travel. I want to avoid unnecessary stress. How can I have this corrected without any hassle? Kindly advise. - Chacko Daniel

I purchased 2 tickets to India for May 18 but encountered delays reaching JFK airport due to traffic from PA. Arriving an hour and a half early, I was unable to check in as they said check-in had closed. Despite my pleas, I was considered a no-show and not allowed to board. I rescheduled for the next day, May 19, at double the original ticket price without a refund for the missed flight. Was I unfairly charged the full amount even though the website mentions rescheduling for a fee for no-shows?

Name: Giora Ben Shushan Country: Israel Phone: [redacted] Hello, I am sharing my experience regarding a flight ticket I purchased from Ophir Tours. I accidentally entered the wrong travel dates - typing June instead of October. I promptly tried to cancel the booking through the website, but was unable to do so. I submitted a cancellation request online and also emailed a sales representative the same day. Ophir Tours responded by stating that only port taxes could be refunded, amounting to $49.26 per passenger, as per airline policy. This was an honest mistake that I noticed shortly after booking. I am hoping for a review of my case considering the circumstances and the steep cancellation fees imposed. Thank you for your attention, Giora

Dear Sir, I am writing because I am concerned that my luggage bag has not been delivered to me by Air India. I visited the Amritsar airport lost and found Air India office, where they confirmed that my luggage bag is currently in Delhi. Despite this, Air India in Delhi has been unresponsive and I have not been able to retrieve my belongings. I urgently need my luggage as it contains important documents. I would appreciate it if you could assist me in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
