I am currently at the 24-hour Fitness club in Arlington, TX, located on Abrams and Cooper Street. It's been a month, and the pool, sauna, and steam room are closed without any explanation. I expect some answers as this is included in my monthly payment. Additionally, one of the stationary bikes has had a broken seat for weeks, which is limiting the equipment's use. If I don't get a response soon, I might request a refund and consider switching to another gym along with my ten friends. These seem like simple issues to resolve, but no one appears to be taking action. Also, I'm curious about where my equipment yearly fee is being allocated.

I discovered an unauthorized charge from one of your members in my bank account for a membership I didn't sign up for. The amount charged was $48.99, and it appears as "other payment" on my statement instead of a standard cc/debit/check transaction. I have provided the following information as evidence of this fraudulent activity: EDI PYMNTS ID: P[redacted]3, and the name associated with the account being Shayla Walter CO... I insist that you refund the money taken from my account promptly. I am deeply troubled by the lack of security and verification procedures your employees followed in processing my account details without my authorization. I have already notified my bank and now reaching out to you. Failure to address this issue promptly will result in me escalating this matter with legal action against your company for negligence in verifying payments and potentially being complicit in fraudulent activities. I urge you to take this matter seriously and respond promptly as I consider further action if necessary.

My name is Manuel Arizmendi. Member number MBR[redacted]0. On 07/24/23, around 5 PM, I visited 24hr Fitness at [redacted] Broadway St. in Redwood City, CA. While starting my workout, a man approached me and inquired about the number of sets I had left. I prefer not to share equipment due to hygiene reasons and always disinfect it before and after use. I explained this to the man after he kept interrupting me. The manager, Mr. Patrick Russel, intervened, and I shared my perspective with him. The situation escalated when the man got closer and acted disrespectfully, even exposing himself. I requested his identification for a complaint, leading to him asking me to leave. I felt verbally and physically mistreated. I am seeking disciplinary measures and a copy of the interaction's video footage for accountability purposes. Thank you.

I was banned from all 24 Hour Fitness locations after an incident where an unhelpful employee led me to cut off my own lock. This escalated due to personal biases against my lifting style, resulting in a suspension and ban shortly after I paid my annual fee. The lack of assistance and ongoing runaround has consumed much of my year. If I do not receive a phone call today, I will pursue action with the Better Business Bureau. This situation has been financially burdensome due to travel costs and has impacted my fitness and health goals significantly. I believe this issue has the potential for a strong case to be made. While reviewing my credit card statement, I came across an unfamiliar recurring charge from 24 Hour Fitness USA. The charge occurs monthly and is for $36.99. I attempted to reach their customer service at 1-[redacted] regarding the membership under the reference number CA #[redacted]85AJQK2WN2 but was unsuccessful. I would appreciate it if 24 Hour Fitness could disclose the member's name associated with this charge and proceed to cancel the membership promptly. The gym facilities in San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Niguel are unclean and poorly maintained. There is a lack of cleaning in the gym including the walls, floors, equipment, restrooms, and showers. The showers are particularly dirty with items left for days and greasy walls. Additionally, the floors are often wet, and there is frequently a shortage of toilet paper. Given the current COVID situation, it is unacceptable for the gym to be in this condition. It makes me wonder who is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of these gyms. My next grievance will not be directed at this facility.

Hello, please call me at [redacted]. I need to speak with someone from 24 Hour Fitness customer service. On June 22, I called to freeze my account and was told it was all set. In July, I changed banks and noticed they deducted money for the month. I called again, and they said they would refund the money and freeze it again, but they haven't done so. I noticed on Saturday. Please return my call, thank you.

On June 22nd, I called to freeze my account for 6 months. The representative asked for my information, which I provided, but my account was not frozen. In July, they withdrew $41.99 again. I called back and the person who helped me in July hadn't checked my bank account. On Saturday, I was surprised to see they were still deducting money monthly even though the account should be frozen. The person I spoke to in August said they would refund me, but they never did. I want to freeze my account and get my refund. It has been 4 months now. I hope someone who speaks Spanish can call me back at [redacted].

I was charged twice this month for my membership. I began on Oct 1st, paying $41.99. On Oct 29th, I received a bill alert and manually paid $41.99, as I've experienced billing errors before. On Nov 4th, my bank declined a $49.99 charge from 24 Hour Fitness. When I logged in, the system showed I owed $49.99 despite my $41.99 payment on Oct 29th. Contacting them is difficult; I have to go in person, but my early gym visits make it challenging. If not for keeping savings stocked, I'd have lost $49, impacting my student budget.

During my visit to my sister in Fort Worth, Texas, she brought me to the local gym located at [redacted] Halloran St. There, I was assisted by a lady named Brenda who directed me to the General Manager, Kelly, to obtain a 3-day pass. Despite being allowed to work out, there was a significant push for local memberships only, making it challenging for non-locals like me to join. Kelly, the GM, emphasized this policy, creating a sense of pressure to purchase a membership. As a veteran, I found this approach unappealing and felt uncomfortable with the situation. The lack of ease and professionalism displayed by the GM and staff is concerning, leading me to reconsider returning to this gym despite my previous positive views of 24 Hour Fitness shared with friends and fellow military bodybuilders.
