I regularly use Uber on weekends from Silver Spring, Maryland, at consistent times. Recently, I noticed a significant increase in my fare without any apparent traffic or delays. I'm curious about the fare calculation and would like to ensure the estimates are accurate and reliable to avoid unexpected fluctuations in costs for my routine trips.

I checked my Uber receipt and it shows that I was in a Chrysler with a driver named Christina, but I actually rode in a Nissan Versa with a male driver. Unfortunately, there was vomit in the car, but only on the door. I was charged a cleaning fee of $ dollars, which I accept, but I find it excessive to charge $ dollars to clean just a door. Additionally, it's concerning that the fee was attributed to someone in a vehicle I did not take.

1. Do I need new photos of myself and my new car? 2. It will take a while to get a new registration and insurance card. Will this delay my ability to drive for Uber? 3. Is there a mileage app that Uber recommends? 4. Do the PBI and FFL airports in the Miami District apply Surge pricing to riders? 5. Surge pricing in the Miami District seems elusive. Rides I thought were surge rates turn out not to be, which is very frustrating. Is there a way to tell if a ride is a surge rate prior to accepting it? 6. I installed the Waze navigation app on my phone. Can and how do I coordinate it with the Uber Partner App?

I recently received a complaint from a rider stating that I did not drive directly to the pick-up location. This surprised me as I typically have no issues finding riders at hotels on the strip. However, I recalled an incident on Sunday where a rider pointed out that I picked up their friend instead of them, the actual app user. The pick-up location was not provided on the app, and I had to rely on a text message with only the apartment number. Without the building number, I had to search the whole complex. I feel unfairly accused without being able to explain my side of the situation. It also seems unjust that I ended up picking up someone other than the actual app user.

I had a concerning experience with my Uber driver. The trip home, which usually costs $X, was charged at $Y due to the driver taking unnecessary detours. This practice creates the impression that the company is focused on maximizing profits rather than providing a direct service. I feel it is important to address this issue promptly. I will consider escalating the matter to the Better Business Bureau and other relevant organizations if a resolution is not provided. The driver's ID is ATINODORO. I believe customers deserve transparency and fairness in their transactions, and I intend to share my experience with others to inform them about these practices.

Hello, my name is Justin J. I applied to be a driver almost a month ago. I just received my background check today, and there are inaccuracies. It incorrectly states that I have a felony for driving under the influence from [redacted], but I only obtained my license last year. Moreover, it mentions a felony and a misdemeanor charge in Arizona in [redacted], but I have never been to Arizona; in fact, I was attending college in Pittsburgh in [redacted]. I am extremely disappointed with the background check results. What steps should I take next?

I have encountered two issues with my recent Uber rides. Firstly, I noticed duplicate charges of $9.66 on my bank statement for the same trip with Larry. The confirmation number for this ride is [redacted]. Secondly, in the ride prior to this, I was charged for an Uber XL although I had requested a regular Uber. I am a regular Uber user for my daily work commute. You can reach me at [redacted] to address these concerns promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I accidentally left my iPhone 4s in an Uber in San Jose, Costa Rica last Saturday morning. I have been unable to reach the driver, Ricardo, despite multiple emails. Unfortunately, I had to leave for Panama the same day. Upon returning today, I still haven't received any communication from Uber regarding my lost phone. The iPhone 4s was in a small Lilly Pulitzer case with colorful sailboats. This phone is essential for me as I am studying abroad and it is my main means of communication. If found, please contact me at [redacted] Thank you for your help.

Hello, my name is Aaron Keller. I've encountered an issue with Uber services due to a PayPal error. Transactions ended up going to my secondary method, which is PayPal, using my mom's card linked to that account. This mistake resulted in charges to my bank account totaling $[redacted] plus additional fees. I disputed the charges but lost the case due to a ride that should have been $13.05 turning into $[redacted].15. Consequently, I am unable to use my Uber app with any of my payment methods. I hope Uber can understand that this situation was not solely my fault and consider reinstating my account. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Aaron Keller

I am Aaron Keller. I have encountered an issue with Uber services due to a Paypal error. My bank account was erroneously charged instead of the Mastercard ending in [redacted] on file. This mistake led to multiple charges and overdraft fees totaling $[redacted] + $13.05 three times for a single $13.05 ride. Despite disputing the charges, I lost as the ride was indeed $[redacted].15. Now, I am unable to use Uber with any of my payment methods. As a loyal customer who promotes Uber to over [redacted] Facebook friends and [redacted]+ contacts, I kindly ask for forgiveness for this misunderstanding caused mainly by Paypal's error. I hope for a resolution soon. Thank you. Sincerely, Aaron Keller. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] for any inquiries. Sent from my iPhone.

My name is Pilar F. I used Uber for the first time on Friday, April 1, [redacted], for a round trip to the Heart Association. I was charged $[redacted].04 going and $74.82 coming back, totaling $[redacted].86. The surcharge for the trip was $72.78 and another surcharge of $24.26. Unfortunately, my boss will not reimburse me because we are a non-profit organization. I feel demoralized and upset as I accepted the ride without fully understanding the charges. I hope you can rectify this situation. Sincerely, Pilar F.

Today, I reserved an Uber-GO ride. After providing the driver with directions to my location, he informed me of an accident causing a delay of about an hour. Understanding the situation, I decided to cancel the ride and book another cab. However, when attempting to book a new ride, I encountered a charge that needed to be paid upfront. It seems to be related to the canceled ride I had just made.

I accidentally used my fuel card outside of a gas station, thinking it was a regular credit card, which led to it getting blocked. After realizing my mistake, I read that it's actually a rewards card, not a debit or credit card. Unfortunately, there is no contact number on the back of the card for me to reach out and get the block removed.

I took my first trip on 4/25/[redacted] as instructed to receive the $[redacted] bonus, but I have not received the bonus or my payment for the eight trips I completed. I was told the bonus would be in my account by Wednesday to Friday, no later than Friday. However, I received an email tonight from Uber stating I needed to take my first trip or risk cancellation, which is confusing since I've completed 8 trips. Can you assist me in understanding why I have not been compensated for the $[redacted] bonus and the trips I completed as promised?

I am experiencing issues with the Uber app crashing when I attempt to reset my password while editing my account details. The steps leading to the crash are as follows: 1. Open the Uber app. 2. Tap on the Menu. 3. Select Settings. 4. Choose the menu on the top right corner of the screen. 5. Select Edit Account. 6. Click on "Forget Password" on the password verification screen. This constant crashing of the app has made it frustrating for me to use Uber.

My Uber account was used without my permission for a trip to Russia, resulting in a charge of $46.45 on my credit card. Subsequent to this incident, I am no longer able to log in to my account. The email associated with my account is [redacted], and my phone number is [redacted]. I require the unauthorized charge to be refunded promptly, as it seems my account has been compromised.
